Nissitissit Middle School was honored by the Massachusetts Educational Theatre Guild (METG) Drama Festival on Sunday, May 3, for its outstanding production of "Beware the Jabberwock" by Ron Nicol.

William Graves, Amara Okano, Gianna Marriott, and Samantha Andre have been selected as NMRHS's students of the month for April. Students received a certificate of recognition and will have their photos displayed in the school's main hallway.

North Middlesex Regional High School senior Gabriella de Carvalho has earned the Massachusetts State Seal of Biliteracy in English and Portuguese for her proficiency in both languages.

An estimated 300 students, faculty and staff came together under sunny skies Friday as the North Middlesex Regional School District (NMRSD) hosted its 5th Annual Unified Sports Day.

Fitchburg State University (FSU) recently hosted its annual writing contest for local high school students. The 2026 prompt highlighted FSU's "Year of Momentum" theme. Student writers were encouraged to consider the idea of momentum — progress, change, expansion, improvement, and growth — and how momentum can be exciting, invigorating, or challenging.
