Ms. Kate Guziejka, Principal

Kate Guziejka

Kate Guziejka is currently in her sixth year as Principal of Spaulding Memorial School. As Principal, Ms. Guziejka is responsible for overseeing and carrying out the school’s mission and vision on a daily basis. Her other duties include supervising and evaluating various school personnel, establishing teaching schedules, establishing school improvement plans, and implementing district improvement plans within the building.

Ms. Guziejka has been an educator within the North Middlesex Regional School District for her entire career. Before becoming Principal at Spaulding Memorial, Ms. Guziejka served as Assistant Principal at Spaulding Memorial and North Middlesex Regional High School. Ms. Guziejka was a history teacher and chair of the Culture and Humanities Department at North Middlesex Regional High School before becoming an administrator.

Ms. Guziejka holds a bachelor’s degree and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and has completed advanced coursework through Harvard University and Fitchburg State University. She is also a member of the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development and the Massachusetts School Administrators Association.

Ms. Guziejka is the mom to three fantastic kids and spends her free time cheering them on from the sidelines of the lacrosse field,  and spending time at the lake.

Mrs. Stephanie Thompson , Assistant Principal

Stephanie is in her second year as an administrator at Spaulding Memorial School.  Prior to this role, she was our 4th grade teacher, but also taught third grade in Ashby for thirteen years.  Having been in the district since 2007, Stephanie brings a wealth of knowledge in curriculum, using and analyzing data, as well as building positive relationships with students, staff and our community.

In addition to being an educator, Stephanie is mom to two great boys and enjoys spending her time by the pool, at the beach, gardening and watching baseball.
