Administration

Kate Guziejka is currently in her seventh year as Principal of Spaulding Memorial School. As Principal, Ms. Guziejka is responsible for overseeing and carrying out the school’s mission and vision on a daily basis. Her other duties include supervising and evaluating various school personnel, establishing teaching schedules, establishing school improvement plans, and implementing district improvement plans within the building.

Ms. Guziejka has been an educator within the North Middlesex Regional School District for her entire career, (27 years) Before becoming Principal at Spaulding Memorial, Ms. Guziejka served as Assistant Principal at Spaulding Memorial and North Middlesex Regional High School. Ms. Guziejka was a history teacher and chair of the Culture and Humanities Department at North Middlesex Regional High School before becoming an administrator.

Ms. Guziejka holds a bachelor’s degree and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and has completed advanced coursework through Harvard University and Fitchburg State University. She is also a member of the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development and the Massachusetts School Administrators Association.

Ms. Guziejka is the mom to three fantastic kids and spends her free time cheering them on from the sidelines of the lacrosse field,  and spending time at the lake.
