Free & Reduced Costs

For the 2024-2025 through the 2027-2028 school years, the North Middlesex Regional School District qualifies for the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) program which allows NMRSD to serve breakfast and lunch meals at not cost to all enrolled students.   This does not apply to snacks and other a la carte items, which are a separate charge.

Families who had previously used the Free & Reduced Meal Application to qualify for reduced user fees, may fill out the Supplemental Low-Income Form for the same purpose.  In these cases, please also fill out the Sharing Information with Other Programs permission form so that we may share the information with activity organizers.  Students who qualify for SNAP, Medicare, McKinney-Vento, or Foster Care programs automatically qualify for reduced user fees with no additional forms required.

Meal & Snack Payments

The Lunch Program utilizes a Point Of Sale (POS) system at all grade levels to determine CEP program utilization and to determine future grocery orders.  Students are provided a PIN number to be used at the lunch-line register when ordering meals and a la carte items. To help increase the efficiency of the lunch lines, a "Debit Account" can be used to prepay for your child's a la carte items. Prepayments can either be made online at MySchoolBucks.com or in cash/check at the lunch registers and the money will automatically be deducted from the account every time the child's PIN number is entered at the register. The money remains in the account until used. Any unused balances at the end of the year will automatically be transferred as beginning balances for the next school year.

Parents/guardians are encouraged to create a MySchoolBucks.com account regardless of the desired payment method. Students will always enter their PIN number at the point of purchase, which will allow the parent/guardian to view the past 90 days of transactions of food purchased by their child and daily balance on their account. You are also able to set up a low balance alert that will send you an email when your child has gone below the balance set. There is no charge for these features.

* Prepayments through MySchoolBucks.com incur a $2.49 "convenience fee"
